Emmanuel Quagraine

Emmanuel Quagraine is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and environmental management, holding the position of Manager, Chemical Initiatives and Services at SaskPower since April 2006. Their expertise includes optimizing amine-based carbon capture and addressing issues related to water treatment, corrosion, bio-fouling, and scaling in power generation systems. Emmanuel has also managed laboratories focused on chemical services and environmental mitigation, and has a strong background in chemical cleaning protocols for industrial processes. Prior to SaskPower, Emmanuel served in academic roles at Brandon University and the University of Cape Coast, and held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Michigan, the National Water Research Institute, and the University of Saskatchewan. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
