Greg Willner

Head of Governance & Legal at SaskCentral

Greg Willner joined SaskCentral on November 15, 2021.

In his position, Greg is a critical part of the Executive Leadership Team, managing SaskCentral’s governance framework and serving as Corporate Secretary to the Board and board committees. He also has oversight of Legal, regulatory and legislative compliance, CAMLO and privacy.

Prior to joining SaskCentral, Greg spent over nineteen years with Farm Credit Canada (FCC) as its Chief Legal Officer, Head of Governance and Corporate Secretary. During his tenure at FCC, Greg modernized their governance structure, created their access to information and privacy functions, and was a member of their executive management team and internal Enterprise Risk Management committee. Prior to joining FCC, he practiced corporate and commercial law in Regina for over seventeen years.

Greg received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has a Certificate in Regulatory Compliance & Legal Risk Management for Financial Institutions from Osgood Hall Law School of York University.

Greg has significant experience navigating transformational change, and his knowledge and expertise in governance and legal will help drive the governance reform needed to achieve Enterprise Strategy 2024.
