Lyle Williams

Dr. Williams comes to his role from Unity, Saskatchewan where he has been a practicing family physician for the last ten years. He also has served as the Senior Medical Officer since 2014 and prior to that as the Deputy Senior Medical Officer, former Heartland Health Region. Dr. Williams has worked towards improving the rural standards of care and implementation of patient and family centered care in the rural setting. He has also served on the Saskatchewan Medical Association Representative Assembly for the former Heartland Health Region and is a certified Lean Leader.

Dr. Williams is passionate about primary and emergency care in the rural setting and is excited to work towards addressing the challenges in the northwest area through continuous improvement initiatives and a focus on improving the patient experience.
