Kwangwook Kwon

Kwangwook Kwon is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer Telco Cloud Dev at SaskTel since July 2025, Kwangwook previously held the position of 5G Core Software Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics from March 2020 to July 2025, collaborating with leading Canadian telecom providers to implement advanced containerized 5G core solutions. Earlier roles at Samsung Electronics included positions such as Cloud Native 5G Core Senior Engineer, NFV Core Consultant/Engineer, 4G Core EPC/IMS Consultant/Engineer, and CDMA Core Consultant/Engineer, showcasing expertise in network infrastructure, commercialization of technologies, and significant contributions to projects like the Tokyo Olympic 2020 initiative. Kwangwook holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
