Dr Ronel Nienaber

Dr. Ronel Nienaber is a seasoned professional in human capital solutions with over 15 years of experience at Sasol, currently serving as Senior Vice President: Human Capital Solutions and Group Rewards. In this role, Dr. Nienaber develops and implements strategic people agendas while ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives. Past positions include Vice President of Global Reward and Benefits at IoDSA, Chairperson of the Sasol Medical Aid Board of Trustees, and Commissioner for the Independent Commission for Remuneration of Public Office Bearers. Dr. Nienaber holds multiple advanced degrees, including a D Comm in Leadership in Performance and Change from the University of Johannesburg and an M Comm in HR Management (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria.
