Dr Sanet Jacobs

Dr. Sanet Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Dr Sanet started their career with Sasol in 1992, holding various roles in commercial and logistics. Dr Sanet then joined Lonmin Plc in 2000, where they served in different positions such as Financial Accountant, Project Manager, and Senior Manager Supply Chain. In 2013, they moved to Metorex as the Group Supply Chain Manager, responsible for procurement and inventory management. Dr Sanet returned to Sasol in 2015 as the VP Procurement and later took on the role of VP Strategic Vendor Management. Dr. Jacobs has a strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and commercial operations.

Dr. Sanet Jacobs holds a wide range of educational qualifications. Dr Sanet obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management from UNEM in 2016. Prior to that, they completed the Global Executive Development Programme at GIBS Business School in 2011. Dr. Jacobs also holds a Master of Commerce in Business Economics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which they obtained in 1997. Dr Sanet further pursued a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from North-West University/Noordwes-Universiteit in 1991 and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the same institution in 1990. Dr. Jacobs completed their secondary education at Schoonspruit High School, obtaining a Senior Certificate or Matric. In addition to their academic achievements, they also hold certifications as a Certified International Six Sigma Black Belt & Master Black Belt from CS International LP.
