Marco Frank has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Marco began their career at Akzo Nobel as a Research Project Leader from September 1996 to May 2002. Marco then joined the International Marveld Tournament as Chairman in September 1991, where they were responsible for the foreign teams. After that, they worked at sv Grol, holding various roles such as Lid Commercieel Team, Lid Organisatiebestuur namens Communicatie en Automatisering, Webmaster, Vice-voorzitter, Lid Hoofdbestuur namens Jeugdbestuur, Voorzitter Jeugdafdeling, and Lid van Bestuur Senioren. In October 2010, they joined Sasol as a Research Engineer FT Process, FT Catalyst Manufacturing, and Ziegler process, responsible for reactor and chemical engineering aspects. Marco then progressed to roles like Chief Process Engineer Alternative Energy, Senior Process Engineer Strategic R&T, Senior Process Engineer FT Cobalt Catalyst Manufacturing, and Senior Process Engineer Performance Chemicals. Marco is currently serving as the Principal Engineer Catalyst Engineering at Sasol.
Marco Frank obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente in 1996. Marco also holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 1986 and 1991. Prior to their higher education, Marco attended Marianum where they earned a VWO degree in 1985. In their early schooling years, Marco attended Lagere school Groenlo from 1974 to 1979. Later on, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente, completing it in 1996 as well.
