Yohann Pitrey

Yohann Pitrey has a diverse work experience. Yohann started their career as a PhD student at IETR, focusing on encoding strategies for Scalable Video Coding. Yohann then worked as a Postdoc Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Ecole polytechnique Université de Nantes and Université de Nantes, where they researched quality of experience in streaming video media and taught IT and Computer Science at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. After that, they became a Postdoc researcher and project manager at Dept for Entertainment Computing, University of Vienna. Yohann later worked as a Sessional Lecturer at Monash University. Currently, they hold two roles at Satalia - Software Engineer and Vice President of Emoji, starting in 2016.

Yohann Pitrey has a strong background in education, with a focus on computer science and image and video processing. Yohann obtained their PhD in Image and Video Processing from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Computer Science at the Université de Caen Normandie from 2001 to 2006.
