Hind Mukhtar

Hind Mukhtar is a skilled Data Scientist and Hardware Designer at Satcom Direct since June 2019, with prior experience as Electrical Team Manager for the Queen's Mostly Autonomous Sailboat Team and as a Residence Don and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Queen's University. Hind's notable contributions include designing and constructing electrical components for autonomous sailing projects while utilizing CAD software for custom printed circuit boards. Experience also includes internships at Honeywell Aerospace and Hydro One, where Hind demonstrated expertise in electronic hardware design and quality assurance within engineering initiatives. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on AI-Enabled Wireless Communications at the University of Ottawa, following a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
