Morgan Jamiel

Manager, In Vivo Operations at Satellite Bio

Morgan Jamiel has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of animal research and veterinary medicine. They started their career as a Stranding and Rehabilitation Intern at Mystic Aquarium in 2009. They then worked as a Veterinary Technician at Banfield Pet Hospital before moving on to Massachusetts General Hospital, where they served as a Research Technician in Neuroscience. In 2010, they began working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, initially as a Veterinary Technician and later as a Surgical Technician. From 2019 to 2021, Morgan held the position of Supervisor of Large Animal Technical Resources at MIT. Currently, Morgan is employed at Satellite Bio, where they have held the positions of In Vivo Project Supervisor and Manager of In Vivo Operations.

Morgan Jamiel attended Wheaton College Massachusetts, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study was Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology. In 2013, they obtained a Laboratory Animal Technologist (LAT) certification from AALAS.
