Sheldon McGee

Sheldon McGee has an extensive work experience in engineering and technology roles. Sheldon is currently employed at Satellite.im as the Head of Engineering Management, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Invitation Homes from July 2016 to July 2021 as an Engineering Manager. Before that, they worked at AECOM as a Senior Web Developer from May 2014 to July 2016, focusing on full stack development with a concentration on back-end Node.js REST API.

From June 2007 to November 2015, Sheldon worked as a Systems Engineer Consultant at Charles H. Pabst Studio, where they implemented new production scheduling systems and added an inventory system using PHP, MySQL, and CakePHP application framework. Among their accomplishments at the studio, they also introduced a point of sale system using the MEAN stack (Mongo, Express, AngularJS, Node.js).

Sheldon's work experience also includes roles at Arizona State University, where they served as an SR Web Developer from September 2010 to May 2014 and as a Systems Analyst from December 1996 to August 2001. Sheldon has also had internships at Motorola as an Engineering Summer Intern at Cellular Infrastructure Group in 1998 and at Honeywell Inc., Air Transport Systems as a Software Engineering Intern from July 1997 to May 1998.

Sheldon McGee attended Arizona State University from 1994 to 2001, where they earned a BSE in Electrical Engineering. Their field of study throughout their education was Electrical Engineering.
