Alexander Hogeveen Rutter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ClimateTech and energy sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Research and Diligence at Third Derivative, Alexander leads due diligence evaluations and investment theses in renewable energy, including natural hydrogen. As a Limited Partner at Atrium Angels, Climate9ers Capital, and Satgana, Alexander advises on investments in planet-positive startups. With a background as an independent ClimateTech angel investor, Alexander has invested in numerous startups focused on energy and technology in India. Previous roles include Private Sector Specialist at the International Solar Alliance and Associate Investment Officer at IFC, where Alexander led efforts on green hydrogen. Alexander holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
