Avi Freedman

Avi Freedman has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1983. Avi started their career at ELTA as a Project Manager before moving to InnoWave Wireless as a Scientist in 1996. In 2000, they joined Hexagon System Engineering Ltd. as the CTO. In 2001, they took on the role of Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University. From 2006-2009, they were the Secretary of IEEE 802.16m and from 2009-2013 they were the Director of Cellular Technologies at NICE Systems. Avi then became the CTO of NovelSat in 2013 before taking on the role of Director of System Engineering at SatixFy Limited in 2014.

Avi Freedman received an M.Sc. and PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 1985 and 1993. Avi also attended Tel Aviv University between 1975 and 1979, though it is unclear what degree they may have received.
