Shimon Gur

Shimon Gur has a robust background in engineering and management with extensive experience in the semiconductor and communications sectors. Currently serving as GM at SatixFy Limited since August 2014, Shimon previously held the position of Director of VLSI Engineering at Entropic Communications from August 2007 to December 2014, where also acted as GM of Entropic Israel Ltd. Furthermore, Shimon was Division Director at Conexant from September 1992 to July 2007, progressing through the ranks during the acquisition transitions of Comstream and Rockwell. Early career experience includes a role as VLSI Manager at Rafael from 1983 to 1992, and Practical Engineer at the IDF Communications Corps from 1975 to 1980. Shimon Gur holds an MBA from the University of Haifa and both an MSc and BSc in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
