Torsten Stüber

Dr. Torsten Stüber is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Pendulum since May 2021, where responsibilities include leading research and technical development for a Polkadot-based blockchain aimed at integrating fiat networks into the decentralized finance ecosystem. Previously, Dr. Stüber held the position of Chief Technology Officer at SatoshiPay starting in October 2017 and served as Tech Lead for the Berlin Community Cluster at Stellar Development Foundation from November 2018 to February 2020. Dr. Stüber also co-founded and managed multiple technology-driven companies, including Spreefang GmbH and Asuum, and has extensive experience in software development, team management, and project management using agile methodologies. With a strong research background in machine learning and computer linguistics, Dr. Stüber has contributed to the academic community through lectures and publications while holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden.
