Christel Nicholson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Christel worked as a Senior Project Manager at Vergel Gay & Associates from August 2014 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects and ensuring their successful implementation. In 2020, Christel joined the City of Houston as a Senior Project Manager. During their tenure, they directed and managed multiple project teams, communicated with clients and stakeholders, and developed project progress reports. Finally, in August 2022, they started a new position as a Project Success Planning - Project Manager at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction.

Christel Nicholson earned a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree with a major in Architecture from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Christel then pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree in Architecture from the same university from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their academic qualifications, Christel also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the International Scrum Institute in March 2022.
