Michelle Barnett

Michelle Barnett has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michelle began their career as a Staff Accountant at Smith, Lange & Phillips LLP in San Francisco from 2001 to 2002. Michelle then moved on to Lettieri & Co. where they served as Controller and Operations Manager from 2003 to 2012, overseeing financial accounting, reporting, supply chain management, and implementing an ERP system. Michelle worked as a Consulting Accountant and Project Manager at VCFO from 2012 to 2014, providing financial and accounting services, preparing financial statements, and managing offshore property and casualty insurance company operations. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Controller at Benefit Transact Solutions, responsible for financial management functions and implementing a new strategy to optimize payables and receivables. Michelle was also the Controller and CFO at DVO from 2016 to 2017, leading financial management for the engineering service firm and successfully implementing a new ERP system. Currently, Michelle holds the position of Controller at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, where they prepare financial consolidation and reporting packages, leads the annual audit process, and manages budgeting and forecasting processes.

Michelle Barnett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from San Francisco State University between 1998 and 2000.
