Taimoor Khan

Taimoor Khan has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Taimoor is currently working as the Vice President of Preconstruction at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction since September 2021. Taimoor also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston since September 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Taimoor held the position of Director of Preconstruction at ERDMAN from July 2018 to September 2021. Taimoor was also an Adjunct Professor at Western Michigan University from September 2009 to August 2019, where they taught MS Construction Management.

Taimoor has worked as a Senior Estimator at Walbridge from March 2016 to July 2018. Before that, they worked as the Preconstruction Manager at Tonn and Blank Construction from July 2014 to March 2016, where they led the Pre-construction/Estimating department and was responsible for preparing estimates, proposals, and RFP responses.

Taimoor also has experience as the Preconstruction Services Manager at Miller-Davis Company from August 2013 to July 2014, and as a Project Planner-Estimator at Clark Construction Company from September 2008 to August 2013.

Taimoor started their career as a Project Engineer/Estimator at CSM Group from August 2004 to July 2008, where they performed quantity surveys, provided ongoing productivity rates, and conducted trade contractor pre-qualification, among other responsibilities.

Taimoor Khan has a diverse education history. Taimoor obtained a BSc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar, which they completed from 1995 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Construction Engineering & Management from Western Michigan University from 2001 to 2004.

In 2000, Taimoor also acquired a certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco, and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification from Microsoft. These certifications were obtained in August and June 2000 respectively.

Later on, in April 2009, Taimoor Khan obtained further certification as a LEED Accredited Professional from Green Business Certification, Inc.

Additionally, in 2019 to 2020, Taimoor participated in INSPIRE Leadership Training at Living As A Leader, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
