Katie Leaf has a diverse work experience in various roles within the marketing and communications industry. Katie started their career as a Graduate Assistant at DePaul University Writing Centers in 2004 and later became a First Year Writing Instructor at DePaul University in 2006. In 2006, they also joined Independent Publishers Group as a Trade Sales Associate and later became a Special Sales Representative, where they worked until 2010.
In 2011, Katie joined The Birmingham News Multimedia Company as an Account Executive and stayed until 2012 when they transitioned to Lawler Ballard Van Durand as an Account Executive. Later in 2012, they joined On Ideas as a Senior Account Executive and then moved to the role of Account Supervisor in 2013.
