Matt Hinds

Matt Hinds has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt is currently the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Sauce, where they are responsible for building the mission control room for product management. Matt mentors early-stage product founders as a part of Blackbird's Giants program. Matt also serves as a Venture Explorer at AirTree.

Previously, at SafetyCulture, Matt worked as a Product Manager for the Issues and Inspections teams, leading them to product-market fit and scaling the products to new customers. Before that, they were an Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they managed a portfolio of customers and led projects in digital transformation and AI.

Matt also has experience as a Founder and CEO, having led AgCrowd, an investment platform for the agricultural and energy sectors. Matt co-founded and served as the CEO of Noggans, an e-commerce business. Matt has also held roles as a Founder at Antler and a Product Manager at Inspire a Star.

Additionally, Matt has worked as a Marketing Project Manager at GDR Group, where they analyzed data to improve direct mail marketing ROI, and as a Product Lead at Noggans, where they led a team in building a successful e-commerce business.

Matt Hinds has a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Economics) from The University of Sydney Business School. Matt also studied Finance, Project Management, and Entrepreneurship at Lund University's Economics and Business School. Prior to attending university, Matt Hinds attended The Scots College. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Alpine & Cross Country Ski Instructor Level 1 certification in January 2015 and the Swim Instructor Level 1 certification in October 2011.
