Andrzej Figas

Andrzej Figas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Andrzej is currently working at Sauce Labs as the Senior Director of Engineering, Orchestration & Infrastructure / Site Lead. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Engineering, Orchestration & Infrastructure / Site Lead at the same company. Andrzej also served as the Director of Engineering, Growth & Low Code / Site Lead, where they led Growth, Billing, and Low Code Value Streams. Andrzej has extensive experience collaborating with teams in the USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Israel, and India.

In addition, Andrzej worked as a Mentor at Plato and as the Co-owner (Vice President) at Frati Sp. z o.o. Andrzej served as the Director of Engineering at WebInterpret and as a Program Manager at Atlassian (via Spartez). At WebInterpret, they were also a Product Manager Marketplaces and a Product Owner, leading the development of a new product for e-commerce internationalization. Andrzej began their career as a Web Developer at RAD-COM and later worked as a Project Manager at K2 Internet SA and ITSG Sp z o.o. Andrzej's diverse experience showcases their expertise in engineering, project management, and leadership roles.

Andrzej Figas obtained a Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Warsaw, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Andrzej also holds several additional certifications, including "Finance Foundations: Risk Management" from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (obtained in 2021), "OMG Certified UML Professional 2" from OMG (obtained in 2014), "Professional Scrum Master I" from Scrum.org (obtained in 2014), "PRINCE2 Foundation" from APMG-International (obtained in 2013), and "Level 1 Certificate in English (FCE)" from the University of Cambridge (obtained in 2003).
