Francis Gurry

Francis Gurry is an accomplished legal scholar and administrator currently serving as Honorary Dean at the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property, Tongji University, and as a Strategic Advisor at IPH Limited since October 2020. Additionally, Francis Gurry holds the position of Vice Chair on the Organizing Committee for the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property. Francis Gurry previously served as Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) from October 2008 to September 2020. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Cambridge and both an LL.B. and LL.M. from the University of Melbourne.
