Hanchul Shin

Hanchul Shin is an intellectual property consultant at the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property since August 2019, with prior experience as a patent director at the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency from October 2018 to August 2019. From May 2011 to September 2018, Hanchul served as a Korean patent attorney at ETRI, specializing in IP licensing, IP prosecution, due diligence, and standard essential patents. Previous roles include patent attorney positions at Sunyoung Patent Law Firm, Samsung Electronics, Lee&Park, and Nam & Nam Patent & Law Firm, along with early involvement in the KPA37 program. Hanchul holds a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Yonsei University and a BS in Law from Kyung Hee University.
