Mohamed Abd Elhamid

Mohamed Abd Elhamid, CMA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Mohamed is currently working at Saudi Ceramics as the Budgeting and Reporting Section Head. Prior to this, they worked at Batic Investments & Logistics Co as the Group Budgeting and Reporting Officer, where they were responsible for preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing revenue and expenses, and presenting financial information to management. Before that, they worked at Alamar Foods Company as the Group SSC Performance & Financial Analyst, where they designed and implemented policies and procedures, monitored business unit performance, and maximized business efficiency. Mohamed also worked at KPMG as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Deal Advisory - Transactions Service, where they performed financial analysis, evaluated business performance, and prepared financial statements. Additionally, they worked at WELCO Group as a Financial Analyst and Budget Controller, overseeing budget formulation and managing ERP implementation projects. Mohamed also worked as a General Accountant, ensuring accurate financial closings and processing invoices. In addition to their professional roles, Mohamed also worked as an Accounting Tutor at Academy Center, teaching commercial business studies and financial accounting.

Mohamed Abd Elhamid, CMA, has a diverse education history. In 2008, they enrolled in Ain Shams University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting. Mohamed completed this program in 2011.

In 2014, Mohamed obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

In 2017, they embarked on further professional development by becoming a CFA Level 1 Candidate through the CFA Institute. Mohamed completed this part of the program in 2018.

Additionally, in 2019, Mohamed pursued an IFRS Diploma and was a candidate for this qualification at ACCA.
