Khaled M. Alghamdi

Khaled M. Alghamdi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the field of Information Technology.

Starting in 2015, they worked at Bank Aljazira, assuming positions such as IT Project Manager, IT Planning Officer, and IT Business Analyst. Khaled gained valuable experience in project management, planning, and analysis during this time.

In 2019, Khaled joined The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh as an Information System Intern, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the IT industry.

Later in 2019, they returned to Bank Aljazira and held positions as Head of IT Infrastructure Modernization, Head of IT Infrastructure and Services Continuity, and Head of IT Governance (Interim). These roles gave him the opportunity to lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, ensure the continuity of services, and oversee governance practices.

In 2022, Khaled joined SGS - Saudi Ground Services as an Information Technology Operations Manager and later acted as the Information Technology Director. This experience allowed him to take on leadership roles, making strategic decisions, and managing IT operations.

Currently, Khaled is appointed as the Head of IT Planning & Governance at Saudi Credit Bureau - SIMAH, where they oversee the planning and governance of IT infrastructure and operations.

Khaled M. Alghamdi obtained their Master's degree in Health Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Operations Management from Idaho State University from 2011 to 2015. In 2010, they earned a diploma in English Proficiency from ELS Language Center. Khaled also pursued incomplete studies in Mechanical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, Khaled M. Alghamdi has obtained several certifications, including "Leading in the Age of Data, Digital and AI Program" from Saudi Industrial Development Fund - SIDF in 2022, "MS Teams Platform - Adoption Session for End Users" from Microsoft in 2022, "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse: Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania" from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019, "UPMC Information Privacy and Security Awareness Training" from UPMC in 2017, "Scrum Master Certified" from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2017, and "ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" from PEOPLECERT in 2015.
