Abdulkareem Mujallid has extensive work experience in various industries. Abdulkareem began their career in 2008 with a summer training at Saudi Aramco, followed by another summer training at BTC Networks in 2009. Abdulkareem then worked as a part-time employee at Golden Telad Recruitment in 2010.

In 2011, they joined Samba Financial Group as a Customer Service Representative, where they focused on customer service, sales, and marketing. Abdulkareem also gained experience in IT asset management at Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) as a Systems Engineer.

From 2012 to 2013, Mujallid worked at Jeddah Municipality (The Amanah) as a Network and Information Security Engineer, handling network management, CCTV system administration, and data center management.

In 2011, they co-founded Trimage, an online shop for personalized gifts, where they served as the Operations Manager and was responsible for production management, product design, website development, and logistic management.

Mujallid also co-founded Nwaya, an e-commerce company, in 2015. As the Co-Founder and Operations Manager, they played a key role in developing the e-commerce platform, managing the production workflow, and implementing social media marketing strategies.

Since 2013, they have been working at Saudi Electricity Company in various roles. Abdulkareem started as a Control Systems Engineer, focused on designing and developing power substations. Abdulkareem then progressed to the position of Senior Control Systems Engineer, where they designed and implemented SCADA EMS and advanced power applications. In 2018, they became the Principal Power Systems Engineer, specializing in advanced system design and reliability. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Control Systems Engineer, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems.

Outside of their career at Saudi Electricity Company, Mujallid has been involved with the Executive Youth Council since 2018. As a Member of the Board of Trustees, they contribute to strategic planning, policy development, governance, and performance monitoring. Abdulkareem has also led various teams within the organization, including the Culture Capital team, Look & Feel team, and served as Vice-Chair, providing finance and strategic planning assistance.
