Asim Maqsood

Asim Maqsood possesses extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as a Generation Engineering Specialist at Saudi Electricity Company since February 2013, where responsibilities include leading a team for the maintenance of power plant fuel supply systems and overseeing a significant capital project for power augmentation. Prior to this role, Asim worked as a Senior Generation Engineer at the same company, focusing on equipment design specifications and modifications for various power plants. Asim's career also includes positions as a Principal Design Engineer and Senior Design Engineer at Heavy Mechanical Complex in Pakistan, and research experience at Queen's University where innovative designs for gas turbine components were developed. Asim holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, supplemented by master's degrees from Taxila University and Quaid-e-Azam University, along with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from NWFP University of Engineering & Technology.
