Wejdan Alaqeel

Wejdan Alaqeel has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and talent management. Wejdan currently holds the position of Head of Talent Management at the Saudi Esports Federation since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as an HR Manager at the same organization from January 2021 to June 2023. Wejdan'sresponsibilities included recruitment, training and development, payroll management, and compensation and benefits. Before joining the Saudi Esports Federation, Wejdan worked as a Human Resources Specialist at a private company from January 2020 to October 2020, where they performed tasks such as recruiting, interviewing candidates, and conducting background checks. Additionally, they worked as a Government Relations Specialist at Hikma Pharmaceuticals from July 2016 to February 2019.

Wejdan Alaqeel obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language from Om Alqura University in 2011. In 2023, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship - MBSC, which they completed in 2025. In 2022, Wejdan Alaqeel also completed a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management from Acacia Learning. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including being a Certified Assessor from Psytech International in December 2021, a Certified KPI Professional from The KPI Institute in July 2021, and a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) from the American Certification Institute in January 2021.
