Dr. Zaied Alkhamaali

Dr. Zaied Alkhamaali is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of medical devices and research. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor to the Deputy CEO at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) since October 2024, Dr. Alkhamaali provides strategic counsel on research and lab infrastructure, policy innovation, and Vision 2030 initiatives. Previous roles at SFDA include Advisor in the research and laboratory sector, Executive Director, and Planning and Follow-up Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the development and review of medical device laboratory KPIs, strategic goal planning, and resource allocation. Dr. Alkhamaali's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomechanics and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Surrey, as well as an MBA from SBS Swiss Business School.
