Asif Iqbal

Asif Iqbal serves as the Director of Intellectual Property at SRMG since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in intellectual property law. Prior positions include Vice President of Intellectual Property and Head of IP Legal at KADASA Intellectual Property from January 2015 to December 2023, where responsibilities encompassed IP registrations and protections for software, databases, and graphical user interfaces. Previous roles include Intellectual Property Associate at United Trademarks and Patent Services, and Assistant Director of Intellectual Property/Human Resources at the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan, where involvement included policy issues, international coordination, and project management in trade-related technical assistance. Asif Iqbal's educational background includes a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property-Competition Law from the University of Turin-WIPO Academy and a Bachelor of Laws from Muslim Law College Islamabad.
