Eng. Omar Alzahrani

Eng. Omar Alzahrani currently serves as the Director of Unmanned Space Mission at the Saudi Space Agency since June 2023. Prior to this position, Omar held various leadership roles at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, including Head of Business Governance & Assurance and Business Governance & Assurance Manager from May 2018 to July 2023. Extensive experience in electronic warfare was gained during roles at KACST, where responsibilities included Deputy Department Manager and Project Manager, overseeing numerous projects focused on electronic warfare systems. Omar has also contributed to quality assurance and internal audits at Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Strategic Project Management from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University.
