Erika Carranza Benavides

Erika Carranza Benavides is an experienced professional in community and family engagement, currently serving as the Family and Community Engagement Liaison at Santa Ana Unified School District since December 2019. Prior to this role, Erika worked as the Assistant to the Executive Director at Olive Crest - Strong Families, Safe Kids from August to December 2019, where administrative support was provided. At NEWSONG from August 2017 to July 2019, Erika held the position of Dept. Operations Director & Community Liaison, focusing on building community partnerships and connecting local organizations with resources for families. Erika's earlier experience includes serving as Community Outreach Director at Templo Calvario Church from December 2010 to August 2017, where strategic direction and volunteer engagement were developed and implemented in collaboration with leadership.
