Lord Charles Banner KC is a distinguished barrister with extensive experience in law, currently practicing as King's Counsel at Keating Chambers since July 2020. In addition to this role, Lord Banner has served as a Working Peer in the UK House of Lords since March 2024, participating in various All Party Parliamentary Groups. As a Justice at the AIFC Court and International Arbitration Centre since July 2019, Lord Banner has issued 14 judgments in commercial and employment disputes. Previously, Lord Banner held multiple advisory and leadership roles, including Interim Chair and Deputy Chair at the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, and non-executive positions at RICS and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. Lord Banner's academic qualifications include degrees from the University of Oxford and postgraduate diplomas from City, University of London and King's College London.
