Aimee

Aimee is the Head of Product Care at Savage Interactive. Aimee has previous experience working as a reading specialist and a second grade teacher. In their current position, they help mentor new teachers and build relationships with students to help them set, track, and achieve realistic reading fluency and comprehension goals. Aimee has also participated in action teams to engage students, families, and community members in developing the whole-child. Some of their notable accomplishments include leading the nation in research based teacher effectiveness naming ISD 316 1 of 4 Marzano Demonstration Schools in the US through team collaboration and guidance from Learning Sciences International and increasing student-parent-teacher engagement through coaching 10+ teachers how to build and utilize individual classroom websites in which relevant student learning content is shared.

Aimee has a Master of Science in Higher Education from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
