Michael Golden has over 20 years of work experience. Michael started their career in 2000 as Manager, Product & Business Development at Ingersoll Rand, where they were responsible for Wireless M2M (cellular, 2. 4GHz & satellite), and Location Based Services for refrigerated truck, trailer, rail and container transport. In 2005, they moved to Qualcomm as Sr. Product Manager, Digital Health. Michael then joined Cellnovo Ltd in 2008 as VP, Product & Business Development, Wearable Insulin Pump. In 2010, they became Director, Digital Health Platforms at Philips Healthcare. In 2016, they were appointed Sr. Director, Product & Business Development, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) at Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center. In 2018, they joined UPMC Enterprises as Sr. Director, Product & Business Development, Health Platforms, where they explored strategic alliances and VC investments in early stage healthcare companies, commercialized a PaaS that enabled developers to rapidly deploy NLP & ML applications across health systems, and helped launch organic businesses in LTPAC/SNF and value-based imaging. In 2019, they founded ChronicMOBILE and in 2020, they became VP, AI RWE at Savana.
Michael Golden obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University from 1996 to 2000, and also obtained a Minor in Engineering Leadership Development from the same institution during the same time frame. Michael then went on to obtain an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas from 2003 to 2005. In June 2015, they obtained an Agile Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
