Chuck Primeau

Chuck Primeau is a Professor of Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design since July 2016 and has maintained a freelance illustration practice, Primeau Illustration, since April 1985, specializing in electronic and traditional illustration. Previously, Chuck served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Hartford from September 2008 to May 2016, teaching courses in Advertising Illustration, Digital Illustration, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, and Editorial Illustration, and at Tunxis Community College from September 2004 to May 2016, covering subjects such as Design Principles, Intro to Computer Graphics, and Digital Imaging. Earlier in Chuck's career, the role of Senior Art Director was held at Lewis Advertising, Inc. from September 1980 to April 1985. Chuck Primeau holds an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford and a BA in Visual Design from North Carolina State University.
