Shawna Peña-Downing

Shawna Peña-Downing currently serves as the Assistant Director of SCADhome Hospitality and Events at Savannah College of Art and Design, where the focus is on operational excellence, student engagement, and event coordination. Prior experience includes roles as a Career Advisor providing coaching to over 1,000 students and alumni, and as a Career Services Coordinator at Avila University, where Shawna coached students in career readiness. Shawna has a vibrant career in the performing arts as a Professional Film, Theatre, Commercial, and Voice Actor with EXPERIENCE Models and Talent and has held various teaching artist positions, contributing to youth education in the arts and health education. Shawna Peña-Downing holds B.A. and B.F.A. degrees from Avila University in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, and Theater, Musical Theater.
