Cam Chatham

Cam Chatham is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer and Postdoctoral Researcher at Savannah River National Laboratory since September 2020, focusing on advanced manufacturing and energy science. Previously, Cam was a Graduate Research Assistant at the DREAMS Lab at Virginia Tech, conducting fundamental research on polymeric materials and additive manufacturing processes. Cam also owned and managed Third Party Quality Laboratories, LLC, overseeing business operations and client projects, and has experience as a Polymer Engineer at FAI Materials Testing Laboratory, specializing in material characterization and quality control. Earlier roles include tutoring high school students in math and science at Huntington Learning Center and serving as a Camp Counselor and Resident Assistant. Cam holds a PhD in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech and a BS in Polymer/Fiber Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
