Lauren Hanna is a Senior Scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory since August 2020, following a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Prior experience includes working as a Wellness Technician at Restore Hyper Wellness & Cryotherapy and serving as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where responsibilities included assisting students and maintaining a safe lab environment. As a PhD Candidate at Rutgers University - Newark, research focused on the applications of metal organic frameworks using various spectroscopic methods. Previous positions also include roles at Retro Fitness, Sonic Drive-In, West Chester University as an Inorganic Research Assistant and Chemistry Tutor, and Camelback Mountain Resort as a Ski Technician. Lauren Hanna earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rutgers University - Newark and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
