Tyler Guin is a Senior Research Engineer at Savannah River National Laboratory, leading five R&D projects focused on hydrogen (tritium) separation technologies. Previously, Tyler served as the founder of Guin Technologies LLC, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where advancements in polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber production and significant cost reductions for liquid crystal polymer nanocomposites were achieved. Prior experience includes work as a Scientist III at the Air Force Research Laboratory, developing liquid crystal elastomers for advanced applications, and as a Graduate Student at Texas A&M University, where several innovative polymer solutions were created for corporate clients. Tyler's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University. Additionally, Tyler managed the Ecology Department for the Boy Scouts of America, teaching environmental science to students.
