Tara Armstead

Tara Armstead has extensive experience in the nuclear engineering field, currently serving as Nuclear Materials Program Manager at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions since June 2015, where previous roles included Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Tara worked as a Process Engineer at Savannah River Remediation LLC from April 2013 to June 2015 and gained initial experience as an Engineering Intern in Aqueous Reprocessing & Radiochemistry at Idaho National Laboratory from May 2012 to March 2013. Tara's leadership capabilities were demonstrated through the role of President at the Arizona State University Alumni Association- Idaho Chapter from June 2012 to February 2013. Academically, Tara holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Idaho State University (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University (2004-2010).
