David Henley

David Henley is a Senior Engineer III at Savannah River Remediation since May 2016, following a role as a Senior Engineer. Prior to this, David worked as a Research Professional IV at the University of Georgia, where experience included modifying CFD code for simulating interstellar clouds and developing Python scripts for post-processing results. David has also served as a Scientific Consultant, completing two peer-reviewed journal articles, one as the first author. Academic roles include Research Professional IV and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Georgia, focused on the study of hot gas in the Galaxy, as well as system administration at the University of Birmingham. David holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Birmingham and an M.Phys. from The University of Manchester.
