Chris Knowles

Chris Knowles has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chris currently works at Savant Systems as a Business Development professional. Prior to this, they held the position of Business Development Manager at Red Meters. From 2016 to 2021, Chris worked at Tesla in various roles, including Energy Advisor and Sales. Before that, they were a Retail Energy Consultant at SolarCity. Earlier in their career, Chris served as a Regional Sales Manager at Advanced Solar Technologies and as a Technical Sales Manager (freelance) at BarMate Ltd PV Solar, Wireless Communication & POS Systems. Chris also gained experience in multi-media sales, publishing, motion photography, and website design as well as director of sales responsibilities at Anglo Productions Inc and Graft Multi-Media Marketing, respectively. Chris started their career as a Sales Manager at Makita Power Tools (UK).

Chris Knowles has a diverse education history in the field of renewable energy and engineering. In 2010, they obtained a degree from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) in NABCEP PV Solar & Renewable Energy Technology from West Orange / Huddersfield University. Chris also earned a degree in HND - City & Guilds in Electrical, Electronic Engineering Technology from The University of Huddersfield between 1978 and 1982. In 2019, they received a certification in Installing Photovoltaic Systems from the Florida Solar Energy Center in Cocoa, FL. Chris also holds additional certifications, including one in Installing Photovoltaic Systems from the Florida Solar Energy Center, obtained in March 2019, and another in NABCEP PV Solar and City & Guilds UK, obtained in January 2010.
