Jerry Duffy

Executive VP of Engineering at Savant Systems

Jerry Duffy has over 30 years of work experience in the lighting industry. Jerry currently serves as the Executive VP of Engineering at Savant Systems, Inc. and GE Lighting, a Savant company, leading global teams in the development of smart home automation, energy management, and residential lighting products. Prior to this role, Jerry was the GM - Technology at GE Lighting and the GM - Global Product Management, where they contributed to the growth and success of the company. Jerry also held the position of GM - LED Technology at GE Lighting, overseeing the development of innovative lighting products using LED technology. Jerry's expertise in technology leadership and product management can be traced back to their previous roles, such as GM - HID Technology and Quartz Technology Manager at GE Lighting. Jerry began their career at GE Lighting as a Design Engineer and successfully progressed through various positions, including Manager - Global Metal Halide Lamp Design and Edison Engineering Program participant. Overall, Jerry's vast experience and leadership have made him a valuable asset in the lighting industry.

Jerry Duffy earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, attending from 1984 to 1988. Jerry then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics at Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Jerry furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business, at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1993 to 1997.
