Sean Arseneault

Sean Arseneault has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Sean is currently working as a Software Engineer at Savant Systems since March 2021. Prior to this, Sean worked as a Technical Lead at Pistachio Real Estate starting from February 2021.

In 2020, Sean held the position of Lead Software Engineer at reVerb (Open Source) where they developed an extension for VS Code called reVerb, which improved development speed and simplified endpoint testing for web applications. Sean integrated Typescript's static structural typing system, utilized VS Code APIs to enhance the IDE's capabilities, and implemented persistent local storage.

Before that, Sean contributed to various open source projects such as Snapdesk in 2019, where they utilized React and Redux to create a single-page web application with clean and maintainable code. Sean also worked at arteMetrics as a Senior Software Engineer in 2019, where they developed an NPM package to capture and visualize performance data in a React/GraphQL SPA.

In their early career, Sean worked at ADC Engineering, Inc as a Software Engineer, where they modernized legacy static HTML/CSS websites using React and collaborated with different teams to configure automatic updates for clients. Sean also served as a Network and Systems Administrator at ADC Engineering, Inc, where they developed software and tools and maintained engineering workstations and servers.
