Fariha Rizwan has extensive experience in the IT field, starting with their role as a Software Developer at Millennium Softwares Pvt. Ltd. from 2005 to 2007. Fariha then worked as a Software Engineer at TRG Tech from 2007 to 2009, where they handled offshore projects, client interfacing, technical writing, and recruitment. From 2009 to 2012, Fariha worked as an Information Systems Analyst at Philip Morris International, where they acted as a liaison between Sales & Marketing and external vendors for technological projects.
Fariha joined TEXT (Private) Limited in 2012 as a Business Manager, responsible for operations, implementation, business intelligence, cost model development, product leadership, and recruitment. Fariha also worked as a Freelance IT Consultant & Service Provider during this time, developing software for a media company.
In 2013, Fariha became an IT Manager at Unilever, where they automated business processes, analyzed and consolidated applications, and acted as a key facilitator between IT and the business. Fariha also took on the roles of MIS Business Partner and IT Business Partner for the Ice Cream division at Unilever.
In 2021, Fariha joined Z2C as the Group Head of IT, overseeing IT operations and strategy. Fariha co-founded SEFRIM Recycling the same year and served as Co-Founder till 2023. Currently, Fariha is the Head of IT at Save the Children Canada, where they lead the IT department.
Throughout their career, Fariha has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, software development, project coordination, and business analysis.
Fariha Rizwan holds an MBA degree in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, which they earned between 2007 and 2009. Fariha also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, Fariha completed their A levels in Engineering at St. Patrick's High School from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2021.
