Samar Issa Albarghouthi is a Senior Education Advisor specializing in Safe Schools, Child Protection, Health, and Nutrition at Save the Children Norway since August 2022. With prior experience as a Researcher and Education Advisor at Ducky, Albarghouthi worked on sustainability in education, influencing climate action mindsets among students and teachers. Albarghouthi has also served as a Cultural Consultant at the University of Bergen, facilitating a project on the mental health of Syrian refugees, and held multiple academic roles at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as a lecturer and PhD candidate, focusing on cancer-related social issues in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
