Linnea Hardlund is an experienced forest ecologist currently serving as a Forest Ecologist and Giant Sequoia Forest Fellow at Save the Redwoods League since April 2020. Prior to this role, Linnea worked with Conservation Legacy as a GIS technician and held dual roles as a wildland firefighter and GIS technician at the National Park Service. Additional experience includes serving as a forestry technician at FRST Corp and a biological science technician at the National Park Service, where Linnea led a Fire Effects crew in Yosemite National Park. Linnea's early career featured roles as a research assistant-botanist at the University of California, Berkeley, where Linnea led field botanist efforts, and as a forestry technician. Linnea holds a Master's degree in Forestry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Willamette University, along with a year of study at Uppsala University.
