Marcelo Oscar Pigliapoco

Marcelo Oscar Pigliapoco has a diverse range of work experience spanning across multiple companies. Marcelo Oscar started their career in 1991 at Nestlé as a Laboratory Specialist, where they worked on various projects such as HPLC and Atomic Absorption techniques. Marcelo Oscar also played a key role in implementing ISO9000 and coordinating internal audits at the Firmat factory. In 1995, Marcelo became a Factory Quality Assurance Manager at Nestlé, working in different factories and focusing on dairy powder, instant coffee, beverage powder, chocolate, and infant cereal production. Marcelo Oscar also contributed to the design of a new factory lab and the development of NIR technology for moisture measurement. Marcelo continued to advance within Nestlé and held roles such as Regional Quality Manager for Nestlé Nutrition and Factory Manager. In 2017, they joined Nestlé Purina North America as the LATAM Regional Quality Manager. Currently, Marcelo is the Director of Quality at Groupe SAVENCIA, where their responsibilities are not specified.

Marcelo Oscar Pigliapoco earned a Licentiate degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata between 1984 and 1991. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in Soil Science and Agronomy at EAS - Escuela Agrotécnica Salesiana from 1977 to 1982.
