Julian Hart has worked in the field of mechanical engineering since 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Boston Medical Center where they received training through the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and assisted testing the accuracy of continuous glucose monitoring systems. In 2012, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Nova Biomedical where they designed methods of a CGM introducer, needle geometry, and needle manufacturing technique. In 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer II at Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. where they designed and assisted the development of new appliances and traveled to China for Off Tool building assessments, process qualification, and trouble shooting tooling related issues. In 2015, they worked as a Product Design and Development Contractor and Senior Mechanical Engineer at NxStage Medical, Inc. and as an Independent Contractor, respectively. In 2020, they worked as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Laxmi Therapeutic Devices. Currently, they are working as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Savepod, a company devoted to sustainable solutions for single use coffee products.

Julian Hart obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University between 2008 and 2012. Julian also obtained certifications in SolidWorks Essentials from CADD Edge in July 2012, FE/EIT Engineering Completion from NCEES in March 2012, SolidWorks Advanced Surface Modeling from CADD Edge, Inc., and SolidWorks Mold Flow Analysis from CADD Edge, Inc. In 2015, Julian Hart earned a Master's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
